Together with Deputy Emmanuel Tshibingu, Bitasimwa presented to the President the basic principles of the updated concept of service development. He noted that the strategic initiative is aimed at turning IGF into an analytical center for forecasting and researching financial indicators. «We explained to the president the new concept that we plan to implement. Our goal is to make the inspectorate a center for intellectual analysis and reform of the public administration system», Bitasimva said.
A key element of the strategy is the technological renewal of supervision through digital solutions, the transition from scattered inspections to continuous monitoring of financial flows. «The strategy provides for a transition from traditional control to intelligent, digital supervision that ensures constant monitoring of cash flows», he added.
Following the talks, the Inspector General of Finance expressed the President's support for the implementation of the initiative. He stressed that the president had guaranteed his personal participation in the project. These transformations are taking place against the background of efforts by the Congolese authorities to strengthen control, combat inefficient use of resources and improve the effectiveness of financial management.
