Tanzania and Rwanda sign energy cooperation agreement covering trade in electricity, oil, gas and LNG
Tanzania and Rwanda signed a comprehensive bilateral energy cooperation agreement at the Kigali Convention Center. The signing, witnessed by President Samia Suluhu Hassan and President Paul Kagame, took place during the second African Nuclear Energy Innovation Summit (NEISA 2026), held in Kigali under the theme «Securing Africa's Future: Turning nuclear energy ambitions into an investment-friendly reality».
